Quince is hand built with white earthenware.  Terra sigillata enhances the surface quality.  It is buffed in some areas and left matt in other areas.

The Quince bush flowers in the early spring.  The flower appears even before there are leaves.  The quince is the fruit that follows. The delicacy of the flowers seems protected by the rather large thorns of this hardy bush.
